Alos Maien, The Transcended

Alos was raised in the richest section of the UDA, living only meters from the beach. His family was extremely prestigious and successful in the realm of politics and had been for many generations. Naturally, he was heavily pressured to follow in their footsteps. Alos, however, was completely disinterested in politics, in fact, he was disinterested with most aspects of the society around him. Alos easily found flaws with the his local culture, and the laws governing his society. Because his family was very wealthy, he always had access to the latest cutting edge technology, allowing him to grow up along side the birth of the Omninet, providing an educational perspective on society that influenced who he was as a person. Why would he want to worry about how to deal with the drought when he could fly through his BOT along streaming digital highways in the sky? Alos and his natural, inherent, addictive, obsession, eventually led him to become nearly an expert in almost all aspects of science related to computer technology.

It was in his misadventures in the Omninet, that he grew to be one of the world's most sought after BOT users; his ability to overcome a situation unmatched by anyone else on the net. Unfortunately, his notoriety led him and his group of Omninetic disciples, to be contracted by a group of self-proclaimed "cyber pirates" to dismantle a section of the world's largest corporation, and steal a sizable chunk of data. Dimun Corporation, the premiere monopolistic megalith corporate conglomerate, is the largest donor to Alos' parents political fund, and when it is discovered that Alos was responsible for the attack, they decide to put him on a leash.

Discovering this connection, and fearing what Dimun will do when they capture him, Alos flees south to find a friend from the Omninet, as it's his only option left on the table, and in the process loses his hand to a pursuing secret service agent employed by the government to carry out the orders of his parents. Without a hand or a hope, Alos stumbles into his online friend, Darkbum94, otherwise known as Frank, who incidentally convinces Alos to sell himself to a crew of rogue sky pirates as an indentured servant to protect himself from any other potential pursuers.

Now Alos finds himself wrapped up in the crazy lives of his fellow crew mates.
