Dardaños
Dardaños was born in the south of UDA, abandoned into the dissolving foster care system as an infant. Largely rejected by his caretakers and being shunned and bullied at school by his human classmates, Dardaños was unfamiliar with the concept of love. This changed when, through mutual enemies, Dardaños developed a relationship with a kid who grew to become his lifelong best friend; Merick.
Reaching maturity Dardaños demonstrated prowess in all physical athletics, particularly combat ability, and he quickly found himself alongside Merick working aboard mercenary crews, protecting Merick as he sought mastery over mechanics. After a brief time aboard a military ship, Dardaños and Merick find themselves quickly brought into a Lycanian syndicate gang called, The Claw. The Claw, known for their merciless acts of cruelty, are one day raided by an entire guild of bounty hunters, each of the members of The Claw to be brought back DEAD. Using Dardaños as bait, the other Claw members tied him up, and strapped him to a napalm detonator, setting it to trigger if he tried to move.
When Merick comes back and finds Dardaños like this, he ignores the fear of the oncoming bounty hunters, and immediately decides to try and free his friend. As Merick unties the final bind, and carefully holds the napalm bomb in place as not to set it off, the bounty hunters arrive, and set off the napalm grenade with the ground shaking rumbling of their airships. Diving away from the device, napalm sprayed out into the room, barely missing Merick, but landing on Dardaños' right forearm, instantly melting everything below his elbow into a pool of liquid fire.
Barely escaping, and taking refuge at a nearby Elixer, they are then approached by a mysterious man in a large hat with an offer. Dardaños' and Merick's employment onboard the man's airship, in exchange for a high rate of high pay, comfortable living, and an advanced replacement cybernetic arm. Dardaños and Merick accept the offer, joining Xri and his crew.
